You Better Get Reasons, Boi

I need you all to give me the reasons you want the old BCC and not the BCC2. This will be crucial in bringing it back.

Well, I have autosave drafts, we will lose our likes and the chance to gain likes, it honors the original, iHunt, It has sentimental value, we will lose the contributions of both iHunt, Taj, and many more. And LOADS of other reasons.

Firstly, that was our hometopic, so no other can replace it. Secondly, without us (The BCC crew), the Bio forums is gonna go slowly inactive. Thirdlly, it was the mod's fault it was locked, not ours, although they claim otherwise.

I would've mentioned  those, but the mods deny them all. :P

The BCC is what kept our forum going. Now that it's ocked, how will we be able to direct new users to see it? We'll have to dig through hundreds of dead topics, search in the cruddy search bar, (Not lying, that thing drives me crazy), and it WILL be forgotten in days to come. The Mods just don't really see that we're a mature, not-5-year-old-simplistic-audiance. We actaully believe in dignity, pride, and honor. It's a disgrace to watch as our most beloved, well tended, and popular topic is subjected to the bottem of the inactive and locked topics. They could argue it's just pigheaded to not move on, but if someone kills your best friend and then chucks the corpse into a sewar to float away, you don't forget where he ended up, and you feel ashamed and angry of it.

There isn't a HUGE reason why we shoudln't move to the second BCC, but a matter of keeping our pride. To save and to scavenge what remains of our dignity since the Mods insulted our honor the way they did.

"We just locked your most popular topic, you know, the one with so many fond memories, the one that kept this board active, because some stuff was getting on topic. No hard feelings! Oh hey, look! A brand spanking new BCC 2!"

It was a total disgrace, and we would rather watch the Bio forum die to prove our point then stoop to "moving on."

Let's just put it this way. If the Mods would unlock the BCC, it would be like a peace offering. We could take back a few things we regretted saying, as they could as well. A truce, persay, and we could "move on" with each side's honor intact, little, to no hard feelins, and no grudges. We wantour our memories back. We want our smiles and laughs back. We want our pride and forum restored. We WANT peace with the mods. We WANT to comprimise, SOME way...

"It’s worth you knowing that the decision to keep the Bionicle forum open rests entirely with the moderation team. Had we followed the regular process of retiring websites on LEGO.com, the Bionicle forum would have closed down more than a year ago. Although there have been accusations from some users within the Bionicle forum that our underlying intent is to close the Bionicle forum down, the truth is actually the exact opposite. It is solely the moderation team’s decision to keep the Bionicle forum going because we want you guys to have the ability to discuss it. This is why, when we see you guys are off topic, and we are supporting your conversations without any money to do so, it is very difficult to justify allowing. You guys need to help us to help you by doing as we say in there, even if you don’t like it, because we are the only thing preventing that forum from disappearing for good! This isn’t a threat or a warning or anything. It’s just us telling you the truth of the matter. We do want you guys to continue having fun and chatting but you have to do it within the rules and, when we tell you to stop, you should stop. If we have a rebellious contingent who don’t like accepting instructions based on the community rules, they themselves are going to be responsible for the consequences, as they have been with BCC1."

That's now they end the argument. "We make the rules and you should be grateful we kept this place. Time for it to die, really, but we're being merciful."

No, no. I'm replying with what SW said.
