Makuta State University is a college founded by the Brotherhood of Makuta. Makuta State University (comprising the undergraduate college, the graduate schools, other academic bodies, research centers and affiliated institutions) does not have a formal mission statement.
Makuta State University, the undergraduate program, released the following mission statement:
THE MISSION OF MAKUTA STATE UNIVERSITY
Makuta State University adheres to the purposes for which the Brotherhood of Makuta was granted: “The advancement of the destruction of Mata Nui, the Toa, and the Matoran; the advancement and education of Makuta in all manner of good combat, trickery, and darkness; and all other necessary provisions that may conduce to the destruction of the … Matoran of this universe….” In brief: Makuta State University strives to destroy Mata Nui, to open the minds of Makluta to the reality of the universe, and to enable Makuta to take best advantage of their opportunities. To these ends, the University encourages students to destroy EVERYTHING good and virtuous, and to blah blah blah mission statement blah blah blah kill Mata Nui blah blah blah ..."

The official mascot is the Rahkshi.
Currently there is only one academic program: the College of Mata Nui Destroying, with two core classes offered (Math 101 and Science 101) and multiple electives (Kraata Production 101, Darkness 101, 201, 301, 401, Fear and Rage, Kanohi 101, 201, 301, 401, Staffs and Destruction 301, 401, Death 401). Students are encouraged to work hard and pursue the opportunities of their learning environment.
An Honors Program is available for whoever can kill Mata Nui. As of now, no one has been admitted.
