We’re just reaching out to you because we know that you’re a good representative for the frustrations in the Bionicle forum and also someone we can converse with sensibly! J [sic] We also trust and respect your opinion.
Although we understand you guys and your frustrations re: the BCC, we obviously honestly did feel like it was mainly off topic and problematic (with the giving away IDs stuff). So, we just want to hear from you as to what it is about the BCC original that can’t now be continued in the BCC2? Is it mainly a symbolic thing for you guys to keep the old BCC going because it was so long standing or is there something within its confines, maybe in the last few pages, that can’t be replicated within the BCC2?
Thanks in advice [sic; advance?] for any info.

It has absolutely nothing to do with being "forced to be on-topic," as it may have appeared in the last days of the BCC. Rather, it is a more symbolic/sentimental feeling toward the memories and the times we've previously had on the old BCC, all of which would be lost to (or from) memory in a new BCC.

We totally understand it from your point of view. Our only question to you would be to ask why it’s not possible to enjoy the new BCC2 topic and know that the old topic still exists in a readable form? We totally get the fact that it’s symbolic but obviously it’s also symbolic for us to have closed it down and so we allowed the BCC2 as an olive branch type bridge to enable you guys to continue (if on topic). Is there a reason why the BCC2 can’t provide you with the same enjoyment? From what we know of the original BCC, people very rarely referred back to anything older than a week prior and the vast majority of conversation rolled on a daily basis, so, and we might be wrong, our perception was and still is that the same can be achieved in the BCC2 topic.
Can you help us to understand this if you feel like we’re wrong?

While this may be, we still had ongoing series and running jokes from many pages back, and the original BCC has easily accessible history. If someone today asked who iHuntress was, or when the Lawyer Vezon character started, we'd have to refer them to a dead topic buried beneath the pages.
